Our hosting service provider monitors for intrusion, hacking and viruses 24/7. WordPress is maintained by the world’s largest number of coders, and updates are regularly posted. We install all updates as soon as they are available.

In case of a data breach, the Admin can generate a Data Breach Notification to users by logging the information and confirm the breach through a double opt-in confirmation email. The following information would be recorded in the audit log:

• Nature of the personal data breach
• Name and contact details of the data protection officer
• Likely consequences of the personal data breach
• Measures were taken or proposed to be taken

Once the confirmation of the breach has been confirmed via email, the website will begin a batch email notification process to all users every hour until all users receive the notification.

R24k Travel Companion mobile app

The R24k Travel Companion is a mobile app distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. It displays trip itineraries that travel agents create in the R24k Travel Manager platform.

What data the app collects

The app does not require you to create an account. To unlock your trip, you enter a six-character code provided by your travel agent. This code is stored locally on your device so you do not need to re-enter it on each launch.

Once a code is entered, the app downloads the trip data (itinerary, vouchers, maps, points of interest) from our server and stores it on your device for offline access.

What data the app does not collect

• No name, email address, or phone number is collected by the app.
• No location data is tracked.
• No advertising identifiers are used.
• No analytics or tracking tools are embedded in the app.
• No data is sold or shared with advertisers.

Third-party services

The app uses Mapbox to display interactive maps. Mapbox may receive anonymous requests for map tiles based on the area you are viewing. See the Mapbox privacy policy at mapbox.com/legal/privacy.

Data retention

Trip data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or reset it. On our server, trip data is retained according to the travel agent’s data retention policy.
